Apple Cider Vinegar.

Apple Cider Vinegar is a natural product rich in health giving bacterial enzymes, acid and minerals, including selenium a mineral lacking in New Zealand soils and deficient in stock.

One of the reasons Cider Vinegar is so good for health and well being is the potassium it contains which is necessary for the promotion of healthy cells and tissues.  The Potassium is ingested into the body in an acid medium which makes it easier to assimilate (you will not find a better source of potassium).

Cider Vinegar also helps to fight off infection in a rather simple way, Bacteria needs moisture to grow and they get that moisture from body cells however if sufficient potassium is in each body cell then the cells will draw the moisture from the bacteria instead.

As a stock drench Apple Cider Vinegar has a reputation for aiding digestion, building resistance to parasites and infections, helping to prevent mastitis, grass staggers and anemia, reducing cell counts and increasing wool yields and milk production.

Because our Vinegar is Unpasteurized/unheated/untreated it Contains the Mother of Vinegar, Although it isn't Pleasant to look at it is often referred to as the most beneficial part of the vinegar (please see below for links to information on the Mother)


Garlic has a variety of action which will strengthen & support the Animals physiological systems thereby encouraging the animal to heal itself.

Garlic is known to contain at least 33 sulphur compounds, minerals, fiber, 17 amino acids, geranium, calcium, cooper, iron , potassium, magnesium, selenium, zinc, vitamins A, B1 & C as well as the antibacterial properties of Allicin.

Garlic is rich in Sulphur which is excreted through the skin pores which acts as a deterrent to flies.

Garlic is a highly antiseptic internal cleaner effective against bacteria which may be resistant to other antibiotics and has the ability to destroy harmful bacteria in the intestines whitout affecting the natural, beneficial, organisms which aid digestion often affected by antibiotics.

It is one of the best herbs to protect animals from infection , coughs, viral infections & worm infestations.

Manuka Honey.

Honey contains sugars & traces of Iron, Copper, Silica, manganese, chlorine, proteins, calcium, potassium, sodium, phosphorus, sulfur, aluminium, magnesium, monosaccharide, sucrose, dextrose, amino acids & minerals.

Honey has a unique hydrogen peroxide antibacterial activity.  It has many healing properties and is particularly effective against more resistant bacteria  It contains a broad spectrum antibiotic that inhibits the growth of pathogenic bacteria

Honey is also antifungal, antimicrobial and antiseptic.
